Outdoor Foundation / Roger I. and Ruth B. MacFarlane Foundation

Amy Dominguez-Arms is the Board Chair of the Outdoor Foundation, which funds Thrive Outside communities across the U.S., leveraging the collective impact model to create equitable access to the outdoors. Amy also serves on the board of Parks California, the nonprofit partner of California State Parks, dedicated to strengthening parks and increasing access to parks. Amy also serves on the National Leadership Council of the Foundation for America’s Public Lands, the official charitable partner of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Amy is the Executive Director of the Roger I. and Ruth B. MacFarlane Foundation, which supports organizations that strive to increase opportunities and improve the quality of life of individuals and communities. Amy also advises foundations and funder collaboratives in strategic planning, program design, field and nonprofit capacity building, and grantmaking – with experience across a range of issues.  Previously, Amy served as Vice President for Programs and Program Director at The James Irvine Foundation and earlier served as Vice President of Children Now, a nonprofit children’s research and advocacy organization. 

Amy earned her MPA at Harvard’s Kennedy School and her BA in International Relations and Spanish at Stanford University.
