    Blue Sky welcomed funders to learn about and engage in the creation of a shared narrative for equitable access to learn, play, and grow in nature. In 2018, Blue Sky and representatives from stakeholder groups have co-led the development of a shared narrative to help unify the field and engage new audiences to support access to learn, play, and grow outdoors.

As the development of non-cognitive skills in students becomes increasingly important to parents, teachers, and informal educators, social and emotional learning (SEL) is emerging as a growing area of opportunity in nature-based programming. This webinar defined SEL for funders, and highlighted relevant research, best practices, and measurement tools.
