    The Story of Us: A Shared Narrative to Expand Our Movement

    Those of us who work in environmental education and the broader movement to connect children to nature are incredibly fortunate. Our work often takes us to some of the most beautiful places on the planet where we are inspired and nourished by nature. We regularly experience the benefits from time spent outdoors, including joy, health and wellness, lifelong learning, and a strong sense of community.

    Student Conservation Association Opens Doors to the Outdoors for Young Women

    As a longtime proponent of diversity, inclusivity, and equity in the conservation field, the Student Conservation Association (SCA) might not be expected to intentionally exclude a major demographic group from its programs. However, after five years of conducting female-only crews in the City of Chicago, SCA is ready to call this field experiment a success.
