Program Committee

The Blue Sky Program Committee was established in 2022 to hold space for authentic funder and nonprofit conversations, co-creation, and collaboration. The Program Committee provides guidance on Blue Sky programs, events, and strategies to reflect emerging needs, trends, research, and priorities of the movement to connect people and nature. The committee consists of funder members and nonprofit partners, experts, and leaders, and is chaired by a Blue Sky board member and staffed by Blue Sky.

We appreciate the dedication and guidance from leaders who served as Blue Sky Advisors in the past: Nicole Ardoin (Stanford University), Don Baugh (Upstream Alliance), Judy Braus (NAAEE), Tim Carter (Second Nature), Milton Chen (George Lucas Educational Foundation), Kevin Coyle (National Wildlife Federation), Curt Ellis (FoodCorps), Chip Giller (Grist), José González, Kelly Keena (Morpho Institute), Rue Mapp (Outdoor Afro), Juan Martinez (The Aspen Institute), Jackie Ostfeld (Sierra Club), Allison Price (Lincoln Park Zoo), and Anupama Joshi (previously National Farm to School Network).
