Through a unique partnership, the National Recreation Foundation (NRF) and Tom’s of Maine (TOM) have committed to $3 million over three years to help NRF support cohorts of grantees that work to make outdoor recreation opportunities safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone. Since the program started in 2021, more than 20 organizations have benefited from not only funding but professional development workshops, evaluation support from top researchers in the field at NC State University, and networking and support structures within their cohort.
