Established in 2014, the Blue Sky Funders Forum is a dynamic collaborative of funders and supporters, united in the belief that investing in meaningful outdoor experiences for everyone builds stronger, healthier communities everywhere. We aspire to spark connections and collaborations for a stronger, more unified outdoor access and environmental education movement.
Blue Sky engages and convenes funders to deepen and expand philanthropic support for stronger connections with nature. We activate funder collaboration to advance shared goals and showcase successful programs, strategies, and innovative partnerships to enrich and inform our members’ grant making efforts.
One of our key initiatives is Rethink Outside™ – a shared narrative campaign co-generated through a multi-year, inclusive process to move the vital work of connecting people with the outdoors from a ‘nice to have’ to an absolute necessity.
